The country of Austria has awarded Sascha Kraus, the director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Liechtenstein, the Grant of Excellence. Every so often he will now teach and research in Linz.
Austrias Grant of Excellence recognises outstanding international scientists, explained the University of Liechtenstein in a statement. The director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship in Vaduz has now been invited to hold specialist lectures in English at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU). He will also have the opportunity to initiate or extend joint research partnerships.
Prof. Dr. Sascha Kraus is one of the 20 best German-speaking economists, according to the Handelsblatt Ranking 2014. As a guest professor in Linz, he will now hold a masters seminar on entrepreneurship research, according to the statement. Also planned is a partnership between him and his colleague Prof. Dr. Norbert Kailer from the JKUs Institute for Entrepreneurship and Organizational Development. On the agenda is a new joint research project on the topic of Intrapreneurship.
According to the statement, there has been a partnership between the Linz and Vaduz universities on the topic of Entrepreneurship Education for the past six years. The universities have also joined forces for the international survey on the entrepreneurial focus of students known as the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS).
